Illuminations Lighting Design Featured In Prominent Trade Magazine LD&A
Illuminations Lighting Design is proud to announce that we have been featured in the April 2005 issue of leading trade magazine, LD&A (Lighting Design and Application). The article titled “Retail Round-Up” features an interview with our lighting designer Sarah Heenan, IALD, IES, LC discussing the status, changes and future expectations for retail lighting design. Heenan was a featured expert along with lighting notables Paul Gregory and Helen Diemer in this roundtable formatted article.
Topics discussed by the three experts included significant developments in retail lighting over the past decades, the impact of new energy codes, the future of LEDs in retail lighting, lighting as a branding tool, and where the industry is headed as a whole. The article was a part of LD&A’s “Century Series” which celebrates pioneers, achievements and developments in lighting as the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America approaches its centennial in January 2006.
LD&A Magazine has a circulation base of approximately 9000 readers, which is comprised entirely of the IESNA (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America) members, and offers an optimal readership for this campaign. The regular readers, who are actively shaping lighting decisions around the country, include Lighting Consultants, Lighting Engineers, Architects, Sales Representatives and Design Firm Owners.
