Lutron Lighting Control Systems

 October is the favorite month of many Houstonians.  It is the first real break we get from the summer long smoldering heat, yet it is still warm enough to sit on the patio and enjoy the sun and ideal temperatures.  Almost every day seems like the best day of the year to be outside.

If you want to keep it simple for starters, let us install some Lutron wall box dimmers.  The wall box dimmer is the basic building block for all lighting control systems.  It gives you precision control over the lighting levels in each room.  You can set the levels high, medium-high, or low and ambient lighting for special moods and occasions.    This includes recessed lights for fine art lighting, tabletop lamps for your reading, and general room lighting for visibility.

A more robust lighting control solution is Lutron Radio RA 2, a fully automated home lighting and environmental control system that is easily installed by simply replacing existing switches. No patch or painting required!

Radio RA 2 is the perfect solution for the Houston family who frequently hosts events in their home.  In the past, lights had to be turned on and subsequently off in all rooms where guests were expected to congregate.

The Radio RA 2 system can be programmed to activate pre-set lighting levels in each room to set general moods and themes for parties.  When the party is over, all you have to do is push one button on any number of tabletop or keypad controls to either turn everything off or return to your low-level personal lighting settings before retiring for the evening.
