Illuminations Landscape Lighting and Design leads the Houston marketplace in landscape lighting design.  Our twenty-seven years of excellent service and hard work have made us not only a leader in our own industry, but a respected member of the professional landscaping community as well.  We are currently seeking to add skilled journeymen lighting electricians to our growing landscape lighting and installation division.  The ideal journeyman lighting electrician will bring to the table excellent communication and consulting skills and technical aptitude combined with a willingness to participate in ongoing company-sponsored training and development programs.  Most of our business is local to the Houston area, but occasionally we contract in other major Texas cities.  Journeymen lighting electricians open to occasional travel requirements will be given priority consideration.

Working as a journeyman lighting electrician for ILD will place you in some of the most beautiful gardens in the city.  We frequently work in the most exclusive Houston communities such as West University, River Oaks, Tanglewilde, Memorial, The Villages, and the Woodlands.  We work in yards surrounding homes of all sizes, ranging up to custom mansions in gated communities.  The ideal journeyman lighting designer knows how to adapt to these highly variable environments and satisfy customers with fine taste and high expectations.  We personally mentor each individual journeyman lighting electrician in the tools and proprietary methods of our business.  If you join our ranks, you will learn our unique methods of installing high voltage and low voltage landscape lighting so you can deliver a one-of-a-kind result every time. 

 

As a journeyman lighting electrician, you work with a variety of individuals.  Your team consists of tree climbers who install special lights behind branches to create magical lighting effects, laborers who help with the physical aspects of landscaping, and apprentice electricians that assist with the electrical wiring and equipment installation.  As a journeyman lighting electrician you have great opportunity for growth into other areas of the company.  We prefer to promote from within, and we like to see people we value remain with us as much as possible.
