With diverse, multi-disciplinary backgrounds, our staff is among the most respected and versatile in their field.  Whatever the home automation needs are, they will use their experience to create an innovative and user-friendly solution.

Faisal Manzoor is the lead systems engineer in Illuminations' Home Automation Department.  Manzoor is a CEDIA (Consumer Electronic Design and Installation Association) Certified Designer as well as being certified in both Vantage and Lutron Lighting Controls.  His background includes a career as an Electrical Design Engineer as well as a Systems Designer for whole house integration.  His areas of expertise run the full range of home convenience and entertainment systems including, but not limited to, lighting control systems, whole house control systems, whole house audio/video equipment and distribution, home theaters and HVAC equipment.

Jim Stephens, Vice President, founded Illuminations Lighting along with Tom Kretzschmar in 1980.  Jim began his career in the theater, learning the craft and technical skill of lighting design for the stage before coming to Houston's renowned Alley Theatre as resident lighting designer.  Over the course of his career, Stephens has implemented the design and installation of state of the art lighting control systems in many of Texas' and America's finest residences.
