Having worked in the electrical industry for almost 30 years, John Bemis joined Illuminations in 1997 as National Sales Manager for our proprietary fine art and display lighting line, Phantom Lighting. In that role, Bemis oversees the inside sales support, manufacturing, and installation of all Phantom products. Bemis also serves at Illuminations as the Vice President of Operations.

Tom Kretzschmar, president, founded Illuminations Lighting along with Jim Stephens in 1980. Kretzschmar’s history goes back to one of Texas’ oldest and most prominent electrical firms, Rulon, which his grandfather founded. In addition to founding and running a world-class lighting firm, Kretzschmar is an inventor who works in the craft and manufacturing of several specialty lighting products. In recent years Kretzschmar has been awarded two patents for his innovative fixture designs, available through his company, Phantom Lighting.
