Design Contract awarded for exterior landscape illumination at Villa d'Este - Houston, Texas

Nestled on the bank of Buffalo Bayou, near Memorial Park off Loop 610, Villa d'Este is the premier gated private residence community in the Houston area constructed by The Interfin Companies headed by Giorgio Borlenghi. Villa d'Este embodies the best of Houston's high-rise residential buildings. The classic Texas limestone exterior is complemented by landscaped grounds, underground parking, a beautiful swimming pool area, a health club and two tennis courts.

When contacted by the Villa d'Este management team concerning the exterior landscape site lighting of the building and grounds, the designer, Rick Luberger, outlined the following objectives:

Enhanced security and safety protection for residents, guests and visitors.
Provide functional illumination in the guest and visitor parking areas.
Create a sense of welcome and prestige for arriving residents and guests.
Showcase the plaza and swimming pool landscape investment.
Provide dramatic nighttime vistas of the bayou frontage
Low maintenance and operating costs.
