Illuminations Lighting Design Supports Bellaire Little League Baseball
It was a great day at the Bellaire Little League ballpark when Larry Dierker, former Astros pitcher and Manager, was celebrity speaker at opening ceremonies for the 2007 Bellaire Little League season. The sun was shining, the stands were packed, the kids were exited and the new scoreboard was glistening in the background at Jessamine field.
Larry's message to the parents, kids and coaches was a home run! He stressed the importance of being a good student both in the classroom and on the field. To always respect your teammates and have fun! To the coaches, he suggested that they practice time management during the game to keep the kids on the field. To the parents, he stressed patience, compassion and encouragement. Everyone makes mistakes, so don't yell at the umpire, coaches or kids. Make the game fun and play ball!
